Every Woman. All Things. will challenge societal norms and expectations that cause women to feel overloaded and overwhelmed by the increasing demands on their time and energy. We will work to create new norms and more balanced expectations in the workplace, home and in volunteer roles.
Get ready to rally and revolutionize.
Share stories and strength.
We have strength in numbers.
The Every Woman. All Things. initiative is powered by Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI). AJLI has proven it is a force in the community, both at the local level and beyond, and the millions of lives touched by its work, give this organization a voice. It is with that voice that AJLI would like to tackle the burdens affecting women’s mental health.
The Every Woman. All Things. initiative leaders already have established partnerships with elected officials in hundreds of communities. Additionally, advocacy efforts will continue to expand as new corporate and nonprofit partnerships are formed.
AJLI – the creator of the Every Woman. All Things. initiative – is a well-respected, tactful, historied, powerful female voice. And we intend to use that voice to shed light on growing issues in society – depression, anxiety, overwhelm, loneliness, fear, self-doubt. AJLI will raise awareness, share stories of strength, and find resources and relief from these burdens together – the burdens of doing it all.
Women often find it difficult to “ask for more” or even just “ask for help” at work and at home – especially women in certain generations and cultures. Every Woman. All Things. hopes to provide a forum for discussion around these burdens in order to normalize asking for help. The more conversations we have like these, the less we feel alone, and the more we can do to change this epidemic of overwhelm together.
Are you ready to be part of the revolution?
Every Woman. All Things. is only as strong as the people and organizations behind it. Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) is a powerful global voice – but we need your help in confronting women’s role strain and role conflict.
We are seeking corporate, nonprofit and individual partners who would like to get involved in raising awareness about women’s struggle to do it all. Let’s link arms and advocate for a shift in societal expectations and their impact on women’s mental wellbeing.
